This photograph is from an unidentified newspaper article. The caption reads "THIS ANCIENT COVERED BRIDGE on Sunbury Rd just south of Galena will have to go. It is located near the upper end of what will be the reservoir for Hoover Dam."

This is a photograph of the Yankee Street Bridge in Galena. Part of the sign reads "WARNING This bridge UNSAFE..." The bridge was torn down when Hoover Dam was built in the 1950s.
