trip. Sickness prevented

us going, but all of the

different ones we had

induced to visit Cuba

served- Hospitality was

one spirit shown- and

Hatchards stopping a few

weeks, again in the

Johnston home. We must

have had rooms- Oh yes in

a neighbors house next

door for a few nights.

Mrs. Hatchard hung her

pocket book on a tree

(not a weeping willow) and

went off without it when

we left the Cape-

Result-she was minus

a string of 18 carat gold

This river is only a few

miles in length but makes

up in depth, and abounds

in beautiful semi trop-

cal scenery.
