Description

A delightful dinner party

of widows (one or two exceptions).

at the Long Beach, Calif.

home of Mrs Mary Hopwood,

where our good friend Mrs

Catherine Porter spends

most of her winters.

Mrs Porter was our hostess.

Mr and Mrs James Bryden of

Milwaukee, Wis. who are now

spending their winters in

lovely Pasadena, kindly

invited us to accompany them

to the party, which was

sometime in Feb. (16) 1924

Front row, left Mrs Porter, Mrs Hopwood

Mr Bryden, Wheaton, Hatchard.

Rear row-left to right, Mrs Bryden

Mother Mann, Janet Gorley.

Notice the resemblance of " to

her mother. Mrs Hatchard.

Mother and I accompanied Mrs

Hatchard and Gorley to Los A--- when

we visited a couple of days: then

Janet returned us to Pasadena.
