Description

Chas. sitting on the edge

of a great precipice, looking

and looking at Roosevelt Dam

and lake. We drove on dam

the Mt side to the bridge

shown in the picture, then

across it onto famous

Roosevelt Dam, snuggling

along the mountain side

highway to the Inn where

in company with a number

of New England, personally

conducted folk, we spent the

evening and where a cold

night was spent.

Following day we returned to

Phoenix by Globe, Miami and

Superior. Two or three

miles on the way we turned

to the right, up grade to some

mountains a mile or so away,

where are located some very

ancient cliff dwellings, we

only went a little way when

decided it was to strenuous

for us. Dec 9-1925
