Taken in the edge of

Griffith Park, Cal. in a

beautiful fern dale,

on the afternoon of

Feb. 28 - 1926, at 3 P.M.

The last act of my precious Chas. was to

"snapshot this group of

relatives and friends.

It was mother Mann's

83 birthday and mother and I

"grace" the center front of

the photo. Cousin Orison

Wheaton and little grandau-

are at the extreme right.

Cousin Julia Wheaton stands

between mother and me. Their dau

2nd from left of that row.

Mrs Sedgwick stands almost back

of cousin Julia. Raymond Wheaton

at left in back row and this bro-in-law

in middle. Chas. said "look pretty",

then "all over" - (meaning the film was

exposed) then ---- ----- the

end for him --- and me.
