Description

Jan 29 - 1926

The second and third

nights we spent in San Diego

at famous Hotel Grant.

This hotel was built by

Ulysses Grant - son of Pres.

Grant who makes San Diego

his home.

We called to see the G.K. [illegible]

visited Balboa Park and some

of the interresting buildings

therein. I especially

enjoyed the exibit of

Indian specimens, baskets

pottery - samples of homes

of different tribes etc.

We drove to Tijuana in

a very good road - to see that

tough Mexican town that

caters to the thirsty and blood-

thirsty Americans in particular

Oh, the desgnating eights!!!

Then back to San D-- by the

"Silver strand to Coronado Beach.

The later is rather pretty.

This rustic bridge is at

"Sunset Cliffs"
