Description

The morning of Jan 31 - '26

we awakened to hear rain.

Chas. had decided he had

enough of San D-- and

we thought perhaps the

storm would cease by time

we were ready to start north.

He got the car ready, but

after breakfast rain was

pouring but we started

despite it. I was sorry too -

because in our 1921 trip

it was foggy all the way

north and I wanted to see

some of the scenery between

San Diego and Pasadena.

We lunched as in the

previous trip at old San Juan

Capistrano - not far from

the old mission. It was the

same restaurant too.

Reached Miss Mary Simpsons before

night and an hour later Chas

had a house rented at 1350 N.E.

Molino St for 2 months and we

were right at home. [illegible] Miss M. Joy Frazell.
