Description

A Japanese style of house

crowns the hill. The terraced

gardens surround the

mansion on all sides.

The roadway starts at the

left front of the grounds

and winds around to the

rear and up beside the house

and on in front and around

to the left and out and down

where you go up.

Two silk importers from

New York owned it for a

long time. It is known as

the Bernheimer or "Jap"

house and gardens.

Most of the trees are dwarfed

There are lakelets with minature

islands and bridges and houses,

and animals and birds.

There are pagodas and gods

and shrines. Altogether

unique and interesting, with great

views of cities and villages, mts and vally's and ocean.
